May The Force Be With You

The force is strong with this one...
The force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet...Even a Jedi needs snuggles with Momma. Mmmm we love snuggles.

High Chair? More Like Sweet Ride!

Check out Grayson in his new ride that literally converts into every seat we’ll ever need for him.
I’m still reading the manual (hee hee, sorry… I can’t even type that without laughing…let’s restart). DAN is still reading the manual because we’re almost convinced this thing will clean the house in addition to the other features. It’s pretty snazzy.
Grayson gets to eat in style and 4-wheel around the kitchen with me while I get all the dinner activities prepped and done. Plus I won’t deny that I make goofy noises, pull ridiculous faces, sing at least 45 of the 100 Silly Songs downloaded to my iPod, and basically turn the whole experience for him into the fun that is “It’s A Small World”.

Great, now I’m singing that song in my head…

Mmmm, Rice Cereal

Yup, we’ve started solids…but to be accurate, milk drowned rice cereal isn’t really “solid”, now is it?
Nonetheless, we’ve achieved a momentous milestone and he absolutely loves it.
If the full spoon isn’t properly placed into his mouth in less than .65 milliseconds, I receive a grunt and sigh, along with a few impatient arm flails and knee bend kicks. It’s hilarious. I want to pace him so he doesn’t choke, but 5 month olds have no concept of patience, or the chew 30 times rule.
Here’s Grayson enjoying the moment.
And to answer your question…No, he is never this messy during cereal time, but I thought the picture would more officially depict the crowning moment if I allowed him to gum chew without promptly performing the spoon wipe maneuver.

And now we’ve moved on to our thumb.

And here we are super happy after devouring as much rice cereal as possible, as fast as possible.
