Honestly, any beach is amazing but we love this spot. The hotel we frequent has 2 bedrooms so the kiddos are undisturbed by us after bedtime, it has an amazing view, a full kitchen for easy meals, it sits on a part of the beach that is never crowded, there’s a really fun water park and it’s close enough to the touristy stuff, if we chose to visit. Perfect for us!
We really had fun this trip and now that the kids are getting older, they really like the ambiance and adventure. As I mentioned in Grayson’s birthday post, he was so excited and repeatedly said “I LOVE THE BEACH! It’s so cool!” Atta boy, Grayson!
We were also able to catch loads of crabs, spot cute tiny fish, make a bunch of sand castles, ride all the water slides, fly the infamous Spiderman kite, hit up our favorite local dive (seriously, the best sandwich EVER!!), feed a bunch of turtles and gigantic fish at a cool little shopping area/boardwalk and the kiddos rode their first ever carousel! We even managed to hook a bird in the Spiderman kite string. It was a harrowing experience where Momma had to run and unwind the poor bird from the string. Thank goodness all ended well, but we were all a little scattered for a few minutes! Whew! Who would’ve thought?! All in all though, we had such a great time! And Grayson is already asking when we’ll go again. I’m on board whenever it happens!
