Last week the whole family packed up and headed to Little
Rock for a short visit to honor one of our dearly loved family members. Under the
circumstances, it was incredibly nice to spend time with the family, even if it
was brief. We did capitalize on our time with GG and Grampa though, and managed
to take a bunch of pictures. As usual, it was enormously hard to leave. We sure
wish everyone lived closer to us!
When we got back to Columbia, after a day or two of catch
up, the four of us decided to head to the zoo. If you remember this post,
you’ll recall this place is pretty wonderful. It’s definitely a great way to
waste some time and enjoy the adorable smiles and giggles from Grayson and
Delaney.
Enjoy all the pictures!
Hope all is well with every one!
Having fun playing in the backyard
Who can run to Daddy faster?!?
Admiring the squirrel statue and GG's amazing garden
She looks guilty of SOMETHING. Wish I knew what. :-)
Preppin' the fire!! Woo hoo!
Darn mosquitoes! Even with bug spray they still LOVE my little Laneybug.
I've said it before and I'll probably say it a million times...TOTAL Daddy's girl!
They sure love their GG!
My two favorite girls!
Grayson's ready to s'more it up!
Working on a second s'more
2 s'mores = messy mouth
Golf cart fun is endless! Especially when GG lets you drive!
Wait...Grampa let's you drive too?!? Double bonus!
First ice cream at a local favorite....Delaney is in pure heaven!
I love this picture. She follows after her Momma...Daddy's girl and Grampa's girl.
Who needs my sandwich? I'll just drink my milkshake for lunch!
Who else is a fan? Grayson of course! Yumm-o!
Mirror Mirror...who can imitate the other the best?
Jammie time with "Waggie-Maggie"
They both LOVE GG's pups. It's so sweet how gentle and loving the kids are to them.
Headed home. Somewhere in Mississippi both kids succumb to sleep. :::Sigh:::
Cutie Patootie!
Peek-a-boo
It must be genetic
Zoo crew! Grayson opted out of our photo request

Monkeys watching monkeys
Delaney: "Hi llama!"
"That turkey says Gobble Gobble Daddy!"
Spying on the bunnies
Admiring the silly (and jumpy - hence the surprise laughing instead of a cow petting picture) cow.
Delaney: "Mooooooooo Cowwwwww"
She has big eyes like me, Momma!
Grayson: Let's feed the giraffe their salads!
What a great way to "end" things...here's the backend of one of their favorite animals.
