February has been such a crazy month!
The beginning of the
month brought us beautiful warm temperatures and loads of outside fun, while the second
half brought this ridiculous, record breaking, cold front stranding all of us
indoors.
When it was beautiful out, we took full advantage by catching up with
Matt & Ruth and their kiddos with a trip to the zoo, and we went biking, did a
bit of bubble blowing and we set up the always incredible bounce house! Words
can’t express how awesome that thing still is. The two bounce houses we own
have been the best purchases EVER!
To keep us busy during these freakishly cool conditions last
week, we went to the local jump park with the preschool class. We’ve been there
before (here’s the link from last year if you’d like to reminisce :-) ) and it is definitely
THE best place to visit and expend energy. Truth be told, I think I jumped and
laughed just as much as the munchkins! And I’m pretty sure all my antics
equaled a sore ACL. Yup, I’m getting old!
All the pictures are below. Enjoy!
Giraffe!
Momma waves as the giraffes depart...(I'm trying to coax Grayson to step forward and offer those sweet animals some "salad")
Muscle Man!
Biking fun!
Too warm for all the layers...let's shed them!
Bubbles!
I love this shot! A perfect bubble capture.
Laney preferred to create a plate full of bubbles
Bounce house time!
Trampoline park! Grayson and Julia run wild!
Delaney contemplates taking the 12 foot plunge....
The outcome: I joined her on the platform, hoping to jump with her and instill confidence at the same time...but both of us looked down, looked at each other and consequently chickened out.
More proof that she is my daughter. :-)
Foam pit fun!
All the preschool kiddos. No words can express how much I love these munchkins!
