The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of excitement.The best part was a surprise visit from Mom.
My dad surprised her with a trip out here, while Dan was in the desert, and Grayson and I were sooo lucky and ecstatic to have her here. What an AWESOME surprise! The tough & lonely time without Dan passed so quickly and we had a great visit.
She’s so amazing with Grayson; I’ve honestly never heard him giggle so hard. Her antic arsenal was a fresh new set for him and he ate it up!
Every time he saw her, his eyes lit up, his dimples seemed to get deeper and his
arms did a gigantic “Hi Nah-nah!” 
wave.As usual it was extremely hard to say goodbye but we’re so grateful she was able to spend a week with us.
And to celebrate the good ol Irish, I pulled out the decorations, got Grayson all dressed up in his green garb and met my girlfriends 
at the zoo. We picked a great day to explore.
All the animals were out enjoying the 80 degree weather, the flowers were in full
bloom and the kids soaked up all the 9 month-old excitement to be had.
To top the day off, we took our usual quick walk to the park for some pre-dinner swing time. Daddy even stopped by on his way home to say hello and lend his glasses for a “cool dude” picture snap.
