The kiddos had such an incredible time during the Easter
celebration this year (and let’s be honest, Mom and Dad had a blast too!). All the giggles and enjoyment in their eyes makes all the hard
work worth it!
We jam packed events into the past few days that were so
much fun.
Of course we dyed eggs, (using kool-aid to make the house
smell yummy!), had our annual in-house egg hunt, attended an amazing Mass at
church, another egg hunt with our Parish, ransacked through super fun baskets, and
we topped it off with a yummy smoked turkey dinner. How could the festivities
be any better?
Mr. Bunny sure hit the mark again this year! All the
pictures are below.
Enjoy!
Kool-aid eggs. They smell delish!
The anxious crowd awaits...
Dig in!
Egg tongs? What egg tongs, Momma? Fingers work much better.
Daddy jumps in and does a few of his traditional wax designs
Hey big blue eyes! (she had just splashed the egg into the bowl, and it's so fun to watch it spill and listen to the ker-plunk)
"Hhhheeeeeyyy you"
Orange! Shocker.
Bunny loot. Again, no candy this year. Not purposely done, I don't think...Mrs Bunny
has more fun shopping for fun/entertaining/silly gear.
Dancing bunnies were a hit!
of course there were glasses...
And more glasses.
The Happy Halsteds
We are incredibly blessed!
Grayson takes the tripod for a spin as Laney sizes it up
They are getting so big!
Seriously, so big!
Sibling love
Hi ho, hi ho, off to church we go!
Egg hunt! Wish I would've thought to snap a picture of our priest. He was out there with all the kids.
He's the youngest priest in the diocese, so funny and great with the little ones.
Laney is looking a little nervous as we await the shotgun start to the hunt
Nervousness, gone! Let's get some eggs!
The Easter Bunny filled these eggs.
"Wait, there's candy in them?!?"
YUP! Candy!
Daddy helps sort all the goodies
My little Daddy's Girl
We made the Easter bulletin!
Happy Easter everyone!
