Moving Equation:
1) 17 foot uhaul truck (3 trips);
+ 4) trips in the tahoe while Dan worked
+ 1) 6x12 uhaul trailer (1 trip)
= Finally moved!!
Well, we're finally all out of the rental house!! Whew!
As you can see from the above equation, it took a few more trips than anticipated.
And even though I was banned from helping with much of the lifting, I think it went pretty well....long, but well.
Up next....unpacking!
I have 95% of the kitchen done, 65% of the master bed/bath, the living room is probably 75%, but
the upstairs is still a mass of untouched boxes.

But knowing me, I won't be able to ignore the mess and I'll move that way next week.
Since I didnt take any pictures of the uhaul fun...(believe me, it wasn't something photo worthy!) I decided to take some of the outside and the unpacking progress (aka mess!).
Does anyone know where to find Samantha from Bewitched? I'd give my left leg for 2 nose twitches right now: 1) for everything to get unpacked and 2) put it all in the right place!
I do not envy the unpacking. and I'm gonna point the finger at the chair on this one.
ReplyDeleteI can think of an awesome "Moving" photo, from around,oh, 1984. That had a big truck in it. We'll have to try to find it when you guys get here.
All that math has made my head spin. I'm glad there was no carrying it to the hundredths place
